In the early 1940s Vic Wilmot Senior had a Bricklaying business constructing brick pipelines and brick boiler rooms on the war ships for the Australian Army’s cause to defend our nation during the second world war on Garden Island in Sydney. He once said to his grandson Andrew, “tough times are ahead but your generation doesn’t know what tough is. So hang in there and never give up and things will turn around eventually”. This never give up attitude has always stayed with Andrew. So when the innovation and growth of Trenchless Technology as an alternative solution opposed to traditional pipeline upgrades came to Australia from Europe this became a passion for the owner and founder of Wilmot Pipelining.
In the early 2000s new possibilities and techniques became available in the relatively early days of Trenchless Pipelining in Australia. Trenchless Technology had been around in Australia since the 1990s but on a very limited basis with old methods not really tried and proven and no clear standards that ensured quality control.
The Technology from Europe continued to improve and make its way to Australia and Wilmot Pipelining quickly established itself as being one of the leaders in pipeline rehabilitation of large scale pipelines in NSW in difficult situations and made a name lining large assets with pipelines sizes of 1200mm & 1500mm rehabilitated via the original point lining method 1 meter at a time.
Today, Wilmot Pipelining conducts rehabilitation of pipelines of all sizes and shapes with long distance liners installed in one day to upgrade the asset owners infrastructure and have the asset back up and running with minimal disturbance to the public.
Wilmot Pipelining transforms ageing pipelines and infrastructure using experience and expertise transforming failing pipelines and assets using NO-DIG Trenchless Pipe Relining Technology. We provide many different rehabilitation ranges to our clients and pride ourselves on a pipeline rehabilitation solution for any situation. Most of our infrastructure upgrades are carried out on Municipal assets such as water, energy providers, waste water, industrial facilities and refineries.
With a strong background in pipeline construction and hydraulic services the management team at Wilmot Pipelining have a good understanding of the way pipelines are constructed. This understanding combined with the Trenchless approach to pipeline rehabilitation makes Wilmot Pipelining the complete pipeline and infrastructure rehabilitation company.
Our main office and depot is located in Newcastle NSW and we service all areas in Australia to deliver to customers. From home owners to municipal asset and infrastructure organisations pipeline rehabilitation utilising Trenchless Technology.
